As
your City Council member, Raphael will bring balance and consensus-building
to:
- Improve
opportunities for first-time home buyers
-
Protect and preserve the Arroyo and our neighborhoods
-
Promote a collaborative approach to educating our children
-
Build corporate and community-based partnerships
Commitment
- I have resided
in the city of Pasadena for over 25 years. During this time, I
have grown to understand just how fortunate my family and friends
are to live in such a tremendous city. It is because of my love
for this city and this district that I seek a seat on the city
council. I’m committed to working hard to maintain the high
quality of life in Pasadena and equally committed to ensuring
that all residents of the city and district have an equal opportunity
to share in its bounty of resources. I plan to lead and inspire
an inclusive community that is intent on each of our resident’s
fulfillment of their family’s values and aspirations.
Leadership
- My successful 26 year career in banking as a senior executive,
and my management of personnel and financial resources, has prepared
me to serve as a powerful advocate on your behalf. Additionally
my volunteer time as member on the Task Force On Good Government,
chaired by John Van de Kamp; President of the Challengers Girls
and Boys Club Board of Trustees; Board of Trustee member at the
Child Education Center affiliated with Caltech and JPL; Rose Bowl
Aquatic Center Board member, Commissioner on the CA State Senate
Cost Control Commission; and participation on several other boards
and advisory groups confirm my dedication to service.
